Todays Scores

Megan wins 3-0 and a great game.
Anthony's team remains undefeated and I can't remember the score. Man, I am going to be in trouble. I will have some pictures soon of him playing. I haven't been to the away games, Steve has been going, and he doesn't take pictures.
Otherwise, things are good here just crazy as usual.

Her 10th Party

Glad we had it at the bowling alley and not at our house. Here are a couple of pics.

Crazy Weekend

Thursday Anthony had his first official football game here in town. I left for 15 minutes to pick up my soccer player from her practice to come back to both teams down on a knee. Knowing what that means I quickly scan the jerseys for #28 and thank goodness he was there on his knee's. Not so lucky for poor Micheal. Our new and very promising quarterback. He is suffering a compound fracture right about his ankle and had surgery yesterday. Anthony was pretty upset and we had to reassure him, that this does happen in football. Not long after that the team had another player break his wrist. Megan's soccer team also suffered a broken wrist today and the other team sent a girl to ER to have her ribs looked at. Hopefully we have suffered all the injures we will have for the season. 5 more weeks for both to go. Our prayers are with Cody, Michael, Tessa and their families during their recovery.

Tomorrow we are celebrating Megan's 10th birthday with her friends. It should be a lot of fun, and best of all, it's at the bowling alley and not our house. lol

Poor Kid

She is just like her Mother. Only I think she might be worse. I asked Megan to write her friends names on the birthday invitation envelopes. 15 minutes later she has finished one, but what a piece of art work. Not only is the name there but she has done cut outs and coloring. At this rate we will be lucky to get them out tomorrow.

#17 is Awesome

Megan's first soccer game as a select player was today. The team lost but I am amazed at the talent these girls have. Now that the games have started Megan is back in love with the game. Rec league and select league where too close together and she really needed a break. This coach knows what he is doing and Megan is really improving her game. More important, having a good time. I am really not looking forward to the drive every Saturday, but it's only until mid October.
We got our sidewalk and new patio put in today. It looks very nice and I am excited about getting it all done and having some bbq's back there.

Here are some pictures to enjoy from today.

Last Day of Summer Vaccation

and 103 days until Christmas break.

Today we went bowling and mini car racing. Jason beat us all at bowling but I beat Anthony and that is all that matters. I will admit to losing at mini car racing. Jason and Anthony lapped us and Megan ate a bug so it was a good day.

We miss Steve today but he should make back in time to see the kids off to school tomorrow. I have to say that this summer blew by and I am sorry to see them start back.

The Last Days Of Summer

We are enjoying the last days of summer. The kids start back to school on Tuesday and crazy enough they are looking forward to it. Last night we went to the drive in movies. What a deal, it's $15 a car load and last night was a triple feature for the last weekend. We got there at 7:30 and left at 1:45am. It was fun, with Megan's friend D.J. and meeting up with Anthony's friend Hayden and his family. It started with Sherk 3 and the Simpson's movie and ended with Borne Ultimatum. All the kids except for Anthony and Hayden where sound asleep when the last movie started.
My hubby surprised me with a couple of quilting classes. I can't wait to take them. One of the classes is an all day thing and I will walk away with a finished quilt top. Very cool.
Have a good Labor Day Weekend!!!
