A Completely Unbiased Review

Maybe not completely unbiased.

Hairspray was completely amazing.
Be kind, these pics are straight from the camera

The set is so bright and fun.  The actors are so completely talented.  This is a very small town and I am always in complete awe of the talent.

This pic was taken on a dress rehearsal night.

Another pic from dress rehearsal.  They are posing for me during a quick break for actor notes. Jason and Emily are great friends.  It's very much a brother sister relationship.  Even when they agree on a subject, they argue because they don't agree the same way.  Her dad Tony is the brains behind this amazing set.

There are so many people responsible for the show and all the shows.  So many people behind the scenes that make this happen.

Love this kid.

He completely puts himself out there for a laugh.

This is the first time this show has been done in our area.

Here are a couple of pics from my phone.  This was our last dress rehearsal night.   Edna played by Blake comes out of the giant hair spray can.  They completely repaint this stage every show that is done out there.

Did I say this show is amazing.  It's AMAZING!!!!!!

I love this small town.

Good Morning Baltimore

Hummmmm!!!! My last post was January 11th.  I guess nothing has been going on in my life.  HAHAHA

Man I wish that were true.  Well......not really.

Maybe I should just do one post a year that updates my loyal readers...all one of them....Thanks Dad.  Love you.

With the encouragement of my youngest, I have decided to get back on the blogging.  He has also pushed me to dust off my camera and get clicking to.  It's been way to long.

What is going on in our house right now???  We are in dress rehearsal week of Hairspray.  Oh my, is this show good.  The sets are amazing and the cast if fantastic.  I promise to post pictures as soon as the show opens.  If you are in this area.....come, you will not be disappointed.

I am once again working with the young actors.  Helping them get in costumes and making sure they hit their cues.  This show I am only working with 8 teenage girls.  I love these kids, they make me laugh and I am very proud of what they can do on stage.  Acting was never my thing and I am in complete awe of them.

Look for a Hairspray post coming this weekend.

Until then I will leave you with a picture of this guy.  His story coming soon.

Happy rainy Wednesday.
